The policy of the school district is to maintain a learning and working environment that is safe, respectful, and free from harassment and violence. The district prohibits harassment or violence based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, familial status, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.

All students, employees, volunteers, and visitors are expected to contribute to an environment that promotes dignity, respect, and equal opportunity for everyone. Any conduct that violates this policy will be addressed promptly and appropriately in accordance with district policies and applicable laws.

Reports submitted through the Tip Line will be reviewed by a high school administrator, who will follow up within 24 hours whenever possible. Response times may vary during weekends, holidays, and summer months.

You may choose to remain anonymous when submitting a report. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated as appropriate. However, in accordance with Minnesota law, no disciplinary action will be taken against an alleged aggressor solely on the basis of an anonymous report.
