K-12 Summer School & Kindergarten Discovery Camp

Summer School Program

Summer School Information: 

  • Dates: Monday, June 15th (start) to Friday, July 17th (end) with No School 6/19, and 7/3.
  • Monday through Friday (5 days a week) 
  • Time: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • On-site summer school (in the building) 
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided to summer school students. 
  • Free transportation is provided for Minneapolis, St. Paul, and select suburbs based on student needs and locations. We must have at least 10 students in the area to provide busing.

If you would like your student to attend.  All registrations received after the deadline will be placed on a Wait List. 

The HCPA Summer School Program will run from June 15, 2026 to July 17, 2026.  Student(s) must be enrolled at HCPA for the Fall of 2026.  Students will be focusing on the following:
Building relationships with friends and teachers

  • Developing social skills
  • Building classroom routines
  • Reading and writing
  • Math
  • Social and emotional support and activities
  • ELL and Special Education support (if needed)

Summer School Information:

Kindergarten Discovery Camp

The HCPA Summer School Program will run from June 15, 2026 to July 17, 2026. Kindergarten Discovery classes are highly recommended for new kindergarten students to HCPA.  Students will be focusing on the following:
Classroom routines

  • Reading and writing skills
  • Math skills
  • Social skills with HCPA Way or Positive Behavior Intervention System
  • Meeting their classmates and teachers
